Weekend Shift: Saturday and Sunday 5:00 pm - 5:00 am
Under direct supervision, The Associate Machinist will assist with the set up, operation, and adjustment of various types of conventional or automatic machines including lathes, drill presses, grinders, and other precision equipment.

What you will do
As the Associate Machinist, you will set up and operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping production records and maintenance logs.
Set up and perform frequent to regular tasks using standard procedures and various conventional and/or manual machine tools.
Work from engineering drawings and/or specifications.
Comply with and maintain documentation and records.
Determine tool offsets and load tooling into machinery at correct settings.
Use precision measuring equipment to ensure components meet engineering specifications.
Assist maintenance personnel with routine maintenance.
Train others on operational and/or documentation procedures.
What you will need
High School Diploma required
2+ years related Machining experience required
Ability to set up and operate complex equipment required
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds of force frequently, or 20 pounds of force constantly required
Ability to read blueprints preferred
General understanding of GD&T preferred
Experience with Citizen L20 or DMG Mori NZX machines preferred
