Job Summary: Provide Manufacturing department supervision on safety, quality, productivity, financial and team environment objectives.
Essential Job Responsibilities: Lead the corporate manufacturing team members with the implementation of safety initiatives.
Ensures compliance with all Health & Safety regulations.
Support the efforts and direction of the employee safety team.

Facilitate a team environment by coaching operators and supervisors across all shifts of operations.
Responsibilities include; Working with shift supervisors to establish and implement a Leader Standard Work Environment (establish a routine and what can be expected of you).
Working with shift supervisors and operators to establish and meet weekly production goals.
Developing weekend schedule needs.
Working with operators and supervisors to implement changes based on data from trials and new information.
Teach operators and supervisors how to understand the data and draw actionable conclusions from it.
Ensuring that operators are appropriately trained in assigned production areas.

Responsible for corporate manufacturing process optimization and change management including: Optimizing raw material inventories to assure on time delivery.
Improving quality through procedure and job instruction development and adherence.
Optimizing productivity and efficiency through projects, scheduling, and coordination of hops production.
Optimizing manufacturing costs through waste reduction & cost out.
Verifying and consolidating data for analysis.
Analyzing data, being able to describe what it is telling us, communicate effectively to others and make recommendations for follow-up action.

Responsible for accurate and timely production information necessary for decision making, problem solving & reporting performance compared to standard.
Develop systems to identify, problem solve and follow up on deviations from standards.
Communicate process status daily and weekly.

Represent corporate manufacturing and support the department.
Education/Experience: Required: BS in Engineering, Business Management, Food Science, Organizational Leadership/Supervision or Equivalent mix of Education and Experience.
Minimum 1 year leadership demonstrative experience in food, beverage, chemical, process or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Experience utilizing Lean manufacturing tools for manufacturing problem solving.
Desired: Demonstrative management skills for organizing and presenting data in meaningful ways.
Experience in overseeing remote sites.
Minimum 5 years leadership experience in food, beverage, chemical, process, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Equipment Operation: Knowledge of the work being performed in an assigned department.
Physical Requirements: Able to access all areas of our manufacturing processes.
Able to work occasionally with heat, noise, odors, heights, confined spaces, outdoor weather conditions.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
