Essential Job Functions:
Develop and manage efficient preventive and corrective work order plans which focus on required resources (labor, material, special tools, diagrams, sketches, work procedures, regulatory procedures, permit identification, etc) so that Maintenance jobs can efficiently take place, unimpeded and without barrier the first time they are assigned.
Working with manufacturing, plans all future related work; develops schedules of upcoming work in the near- and long-term future; works with the Maintenance Engineer in developing and maintaining Preventive / Predictive Maintenance programs; and recommends work schedules which balance and level Maintenance workloads to help optimize Maintenance labor utilization and internal production schedules.
Issues a variety of computer-based Planning and Scheduling informational and effectiveness reports for Maintenance and Manufacturing.
Assist, where required, craftsman/enabling teams in determining if scope changes can be completed without disrupting schedule.
Maintains MMS system accuracy with up-to-date Tasks, Material Lists, Work schedules and other essential work management data.
Maintains the Maintenance Scheduling System.
Issue scheduling informational and effectiveness reports for Maintenance and Operation organizations.
Participates on the Safety Team and safety event investigations.
Reports monthly performance metrics to include budget adherence, contractor safety, and work completion to cost and schedule.
Maintain maintenance databases to meet regulatory and reliability needs for instrumentation and equipment.
Collect information, enter data, approve records, and other activities as required to assist the team to ensure SQF compliance.
Act as a point of contact between the maintenance/technical teams and compliance/QA for providing technical support as it pertains to MMS data integrity requirements.
Provide guidance to technical and maintenance teams to ensure conformance on the use of compliance policies related to maintenance and change control.
Be accountable for the maintenance of documentation and data systems used to facilitate reliability engineering programs.
Education/Experience:
Required:
Associates Degree in a technical field or equivalent maintenance field experience.
Maintenance Department experience in planning, supervision, or management of trades.
Desired:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
Equipment Operation:
General office equipment
Microsoft Office Suite
Material Handling Equipment, Shop Tools and Equipment (metal bending
equipment, Drill presses, lathes, welding equipment).
Hoists, lifting equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Working with liquids and dry powders in a production environment
Able to work with heat, noise, odors, heights, confined spaces and outdoor
weather conditions
Work may involve basic motions of bending, leaning, lifting, twisting and turning
with the need to lift and move 4 oz to 10 lbs on a frequent basis and up to 50 lbs
on an infrequent basis.
Ability to access buildings across company campus including manufacturing.
Travel:
Ability to travel as required.
