Description Your role at GEI.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties Manage and track review and approvals for submittals, invoices, change orders, and waste documents.
Use and facilitate use of Procore construction management software with contractors, GEI field staff, project management staff, and client.
Process and track formal correspondence with client and subcontractors as related to construction.
Assist Project Engineers and Quality Assurance Manager with job-site compliance tracking.
Manage vendors and purchasing.
Oversee office operations: front-office traffic, inventory, supplies, maintenance, organization, packages, etc.
Staff support: assist construction management team with miscellaneous tasks.
Project support: review, edit, and format extensive documents.
Meeting coordination: reserve space, set up AV, order food, room setup and cleanup etc.
Overcome obstacles, adapt, find solutions, and get results.
Minimum Qualifications 10 years of related experience in a construction/contracting setting.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently as well as in groups.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
Excellent grammar, writing, formatting and editing skills.
Outstanding verbal and written communication.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or similar preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Other Details: Full-time (business hours).
Occasional overtime and possible travel.
