*Job Description:*
Hour Time Hourly Childcare, a new daycare facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our team.
As a Lead Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing quality care and nurturing to young children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.
This position offers a Sunday to Sunday schedule with a 3day work week, and full time 36hrs weekly.
*Responsibilities:*
* Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in accordance with established guidelines and policies.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs to promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring the facility meets health and safety regulations.
* Establish and maintain effective communication with parents/guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
* Supervise and guide assistant caregivers and volunteers, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
* Administer basic first aid and respond appropriately to emergencies.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
*Requirements:*
Must be at least 19 years old.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting required.
* Ability to pass background checks, including fingerprinting and criminal history checks required .
* CPR and First Aid certification required.
* Courses completed MiRegistry Preferred
* Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
