Mortgage Lending Manager

Description: As the Mortgage Lending Manager at Kalsee Credit Union, you will embody the role of a service-driven leader, focused on overseeing the entire mortgage lending process with an emphasis on exceptional member service.
The Mortgage Lending Manager is responsible for ensuring all operations from loan origination to closing are executed efficiently and effectively while fostering positive relationships with both Kalsee members and internal team members.
This position will not only aim to meet the financial needs of our membership through responsible lending but also drive the growth and profitability of our mortgage portfolio, embodying our credit union's commitment to service and the community.
Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee the mortgage lending process from application to closing - Develop and implement strategies to increase mortgage loan production and profitability - Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals - Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations governing mortgage lending - Analyze market trends and adjust lending strategies accordingly - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Train and mentor mortgage loan officers and support staff - Other duties as assigned #ZR Requirements: - Bachelor's degree with emphasis in business or finance preferred - High school diploma or GED required - Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage lending, with at least 2 years in a management role - Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and compliance requirements - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to lead and motivate a team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mortgage lending software - S.
